How I Made Mine-Ding Your Own Business
This game actually started on a day when I was sick and stayed home from school. With a full day free, I decided to challenge myself and start a brand-new project. The idea came pretty quickly: a mining game where ores fall from above and you collect them with a minecart.
Once that was working, I needed a way for players to turn ores into money. That’s when the big pipe mechanic was born — move your cart under the pipe and it sucks up the ores, paying you cash in return. Simple, satisfying, and fun.
From there, I added upgrades so you could spend your hard-earned money. Right now, you can:

Unlock new types of ores

Reduce the time between ore spawns

Upgrade your cart to bigger and better versions

Boost your cart’s speed
I built most of this within the first three days, but I wanted to push it further. So I added plots that you can buy to expand your mining empire. Upgrading them even makes ores spawn two at a time — with the timing offset so you still have a chance to collect both.
